Engine: 1992 Yamaha 130 TXRP Shopping experience: Crowley Marine is my "go to" store for finding the right part for my 1992 Yamaha 130 TXRP outboard. The illustrations are a huge help. Prices are fair and worth every penny. Great store! Packaging is good and secure. Shipping is fairly quick. Again, great store! Repair difficulty: Easy Repair time: 30 to 60 mins Repair symptoms: Remote neutral lock plate broke while underway. Manual indicated the remote needed to be opened up and disassembled to remove the shifter and access the lock plate. This is not true. The bolt that holds the shifter in place is accessible on the backside of the remote. Easy fix. Scary when the plate broke and the throttle got momentarily stuck at 3/4 throttle. Smooth as silk now and locks securely in neutral.
