Engine: YAMAHA Shopping experience: I have a 2004 Yamaha 4hp 2 stroke motor that needs the lower case shaft seals replaced. I was in doubt of getting the parts because of the age. Fortunately Crowley Marine have the parts. So a huge success. Thank you Repair difficulty: Easy Repair time: Less than 30 mins Repair symptoms: Shaft seals replacement Disconnect the gear linkages and removed the lower unit. Removed the propeller removed the shaft seals remove the water pump impeller and the sealcover then using a small pick carefully removed the seals. Replaced the seals in reverse order. Success
