Engine: Johnson 4hp Shopping experience: Ordering was easy because they have a complete comprehensive parts diagram for what ever make and model you have. Repair difficulty: Medium Repair time: 2 to 4 hours Repair symptoms: Engine hadn’t run in 34 yrs since being stored A friends little Johnson hadn’t run in 34 yrs! He asked if I could bring it to life again. He said it ran when it was put up. So I told him the plan and ordered all the parts for carb overhaul,points and condenser and an impeller. Took it apart,cleaned it well and replaced all the old parts ,set the points and BAM! It lives ! It starts so well you can hand crank it with the flywheel! He has used it several times and says it starts and runs outstanding like new again.
