Engine: Yamaha 60hp Repair difficulty: Medium Repair time: More than 4 hours Repair symptoms: Overheat alarm/ ran rough Replaced water pump kit in lower unit. Old impeller was stiff and not pumping water efficiently at trolling speeds. Cleaned and installed new carburetor kits. Hardest part of the job was installing the carburetor silencing cover back on. First piece off last piece on. YouTube videos are invaluable to get a good idea of what to expect. Reasonable mechanical skills and metric tools required.

Engine: 1994 Yamaha 60 Ho Shopping experience: Web site very easy to use/navigate found the parts needed to repair my older Yamaha. Shipping was very fast and parts fit perfect. Also prices where great. Thanks Tim Repair difficulty: Medium Repair time: 2 to 4 hours Repair symptoms: Motor sat for 8 years When I first got the engine pulled the plugs and added oil to each cylinder. Few days later checked compression all was good. Then ordered parts to rebuild carbs, new fuel pump, plugs, new water pump & replacement bolts for lower unit and motor mount bolts. After 8 years she runs like new. Crowley marine is now my go to marine parts store. Thanks Tim Great state of North Carolina
