How do I install the new shift cam assemble on yamaha 6SF
Set the lower unit in neutral, center the clutch dog, and install the shift cam with the “UP” or “F” mark facing correctly (up/forward). Slide the assembly in carefully while keeping slight tension on the shift shaft so the cam engages the clutch dog. Before closing, rotate the shaft to confirm forward, neutral, and reverse all engage properly.
