Shopping experience: Impressed a little. I was in Mexico cruising when my outboard need service. Parts are not available here. I asked the online chat if the parts actually ship international and how long it would take. 2-5 days he says. I was skeptical. He told me one part need to be shipped from another warehouse and it would delay shipment a free days. It took them a few days as he said. The parts shipped and arrived in 2 days. Very satisfied Repair difficulty: Easy Repair time: More than 4 hours Complete tear-down and overhaul, Motor was not properly maintained for a long time and had frozen tilt and steering fittings. Throttle linkages were rotted off, Replaced water pump lower unit seals, broke free frozen parts. Motor still has good spark and compression. This motor looks like it started life with the electric start option. The starter was previously removed and what looks like the electrical interlock and starter button was bypassed .
