Engine: Yamaha Shopping experience: Great! Although the parts were on backorder, they fit perfectly. Repair difficulty: Hard Repair time: 1 to 2 hours Repair symptoms: Water pump impeller replacement Removed & replaced shaft bushings as disassembly was difficult to replace impeller. Reassembly of 6hp outboard is challenging as alignment of shaft with spline gear is frustrating.
