Engine: 2005 Yamaha F250 TXRD Shopping experience: Great price! Speedy delivery! Repair difficulty: Medium Repair time: 2 to 4 hours Repair symptoms: leaking at prop shaft seals Found milky (from water intrusion) colored gear oil when draining lower unit when winterizing motor and then pressure tested lower unit. That test showed it was leaking at prop shaft seals. Decided to do all the seals at the same time and took lower unit apart. Prop shaft had grooves worn into it, possibly from fishing line caught or sand from running in low water. ordered new parts and reassembled! Works like new now!

Shopping experience: Initially I received on part in my order that was incorrect. I ordered a part with the part number starting 69J. I received a part with part number starting 6J9. Both were prop shafts so it is an honest mistake. Upon notification of the mistake, Crowely IMMEDIATELY shipped me the correct part express with a return shipping label for the incorrect part.
