HAVE A1994 C75TLRS RUNS GOOD BUT WHEN IT GETS WARMED UP ALARM GOES OFF AND IT STARTS JERKING. PUMPING WATER GOOD WE MIX THE OIL AND GAS 50 /1 .

Heres what you can try Replace thermostat (cheap and easy). Inspect & maybe replace water pump/impeller. Flush water passages (you can use Salt-Away or vinegar mix). Test or replace temp sensor. Run without cowling, use temp gun, watch for flow/heat imbalance.

Engine: 1989 Yamaha 85hp Shopping experience: Very knowledgeable on older engines like mine. And able to find new parts for my engine. Great help! Repair difficulty: Easy Repair time: Less than 30 mins Repair symptoms: Coil pack was weak. Top cylinder on my 85 horsepower Yamaha. I would run Right after giving a gas, But would not run at idle. Change the top coil pack and Adjust the air flow to the top carburetor. Runs a lot better. If it gives me any more trouble I will change the reeds On that Cylinde
