Engine: Yamaha 40hp 1987/1990 Shopping experience: Excellent delivery of parts. Repair difficulty: Easy Repair time: 30 to 60 mins Repair symptoms: Leaking propshaft seals. To remove the shaft seals I used a steel scriber with a 90 bend on it about 20mm. First I punctured a hole in the seal's backplate then using some force I hooked the old seals out.
