Engine: Yamaha 200 HP VMAX Shopping experience: Overall I was satisfied. The price of my outboard tilt/trim switch was actually a tad lower than some other dealers. The correct part was shipped to me in a reasonable amount of time. My only complaint would be the shipping said two to three days and it took about 7 or 8 but for me it wasn’t a big deal since i have multiple t/t switches. I would definitely purchase for Crowley Marine again. Repair difficulty: Easy Repair time: Less than 30 mins Repair symptoms: Switch would on move engine up but not down. I removed the cowling. Then removed the two bolts that held the switch bracket in and then could removed the switch by unplugging harness. Just reverse procedure to install switch. Just to be safe, it’s a good ideal to either turn off your main breaker on disconnect battery cables first.
