Engine: Suzuki 8 HP outboard Shopping experience: No problems with order. Everything as expected as far as purchase. Repair difficulty: Easy Repair time: 1 to 2 hours Repair symptoms: No water from water pump The Suzuki motor needed a new impeller. The replacement was pretty easy considering no repair manual available. Loosened the 4 bolts on the lower shaft housing and unscrewed the shift linkage and the lower unit came right off exposing the impeller housing. I had drained the oil but found I didn't need to. Had to tweak the shift lever a little after assembly but it was easy.
