Engine: Yamaha 4hp Shopping experience: I shop online with Crowley due to their ability to either stock the parts for my outboard engines or locate the parts. Crowley always keep me updated on when the parts will be shipped and allow me to track the shipment. I would definitely recommend Crowley Marine and I will continue to do business with them. Repair difficulty: Easy Repair time: More than 4 hours Repair symptoms: Water pump and head gasket. This was my first time doing a head gasket on my outboard and it was challenging taking the engine pretty much completely apart with the exception of the gears. I will have to wait until the spring in order to find out if my repair was a success.
Shopping experience: The sales team was responsive. The part was back-ordered and took a few months to get, but I was kept informed. Repair difficulty: Easy Repair time: Less than 30 mins
