Engine: Yamaha 80hp Shopping experience: Great service and fast shipping, even through the current pandemic. Helpful staff in the phone as well. Repair difficulty: Easy Repair time: 1 to 2 hours Repair symptoms: Lower unit failed 1. Removed lower unit and disassembled to verify failure of gears. 2. Ordered new lower unit assembly from Crowley Marine. 3. Removed propeller from old lower unit and installed on new lower unit. 4. Filled new lower unit with oil. 5. Installed lower unit on engine. 6. Ran through lower unit break in procedure as outlined on Crowley Marine website
