Engine: 1973 Mercury 65hp Shopping experience: Highly doubt I will source outboard parts anywhere but here from now on. I’m all the way up in northern Canada and my parts arrived in 4 days! 👍 Repair difficulty: Easy Repair time: 1 to 2 hours Repair symptoms: Lower unit gearbox nut broken Smooth repair only I couldn’t remember if the engine was in forward or reverse during disassembly and assembled with motor in neutral. Ended up having no reverse after instal. Be sure to take note next time lol
